Look at this site to see the excellent Pugin conservation work and general raising of awareness being effected in Australia, Pugin's 'Antipodes', by our own Society expert, Brian Andrews. It is perhaps not generally known, to those new to Pugin, how far his influence extended. This is the site for those interested in all sorts and denominations of churches, their histories and their architecture. Contains a great deal of absorbing material. http://www.victoriansociety.org.uk Go to this site for details of the Victorian Society, the heroic pioneer organisation for the publicising and saving of Victorian buildings since the 1950s, and one of the most respected of the National Amenity Societies. http://www.landmarktrust.co.uk The site of The Landmark Trust. The Landmark Trust has now completed the massive and important restoration of Pugin's home, The Grange, at Ramsgate. Members may now feel free to book their holidays there!
