ABOUT THE PUGIN FAMILY TREE The Pugin Family Tree when clicked opens up a different new window in Internet Explorer: wider horizontally, and not bearing the usual section and subsection navigational buttons (down the left and along the top). Instead, it has a button to return to the Home page, and, anyway, one can click the {back} button on the browswer toolbar to return to the Family Tree home page and navigate elsewhere from there. As one moves the mouse over the boxes, some names show themselves to be clickable links (the cursor turns to a hand and the colour of the text changes) to pictures and anecdotes connected with the names. More links to pictures and anecdotes will become evident in time.
The Colour Scheme An apology: the Family Tree simply does not work when viewed in Netscape browsers (Navigator, Communicator), although the rest of the site works OK. This (purely technical) problem will be solved in time; in the meantime, please view it in Internet Explorer, if possible. The content for this part of the site was kindly researched and presented by Pugin Society member, David Peniston-Bird. |
